Yes! The rated working voltage is 5V which is far lower than the international safety voltage standard 36V. It’s absolutely safe.

No. The device uses pulses technology so you will feel a mild electric flow and heat sensation, but it won’t hurt you. You can adjust the levels of intensity to where is most comfortable to you.
